Field Notes

Description:

Reddish-brown moth. Wingspan about 1.25 inches (rough estimate)

Habitat:

Found resting on a concrete wall on an Emory building

Notes:

Until you're right next to it, this moth looks like a dead leaf. It hides in plain sight.
Anyone want to help me ID this?

Species ID Suggestions

Comments (1)

I'd start looking in the family Geometridae and the group referred to as carpet moths
