Field Notes
Description:
Bright rust brown cap with white eye - bar and black line through the area from beak past the eye. Cheeks are light gray. Tan back with darker streaks of brown. Brown wings with white wing bars. Sexes similar. This species is somewhat smaller than other sparrows
Habitat:
Woodland edges, grassy ares, lawns, and gardens.
Notes:
Energetic and attractive bird.
