Description:

About 12cm long. It's unusual to see more than one at a time.

Saunders' Case Moth aka Large Bagworm Moth

The silken case provides protection for the growing larvae. Interestingly only the males will mature to have wings. The female will mature but remain wingless and stay in her case.
