Field Notes

Description:

They don't actually fly but their ribs and their connecting membrane may be extended to create a wing, allowing them to glide up to 60m. Not sure of the species, possibly D. fimbriatus.

Habitat:

tropical rainforest

Notes:

I spotted this in Tawau Hills park.

Species ID Suggestions

Yeah, tough one to ID without it's wings open. My best guess would be Draco fimbriatus.
