Description:

A horned lizard from Knuckles, whose horns look more like a blade or leaf, Head oval, longer than wide; rostral appendage fleshy, laterally compressed, leaf like, with a bluntly conical scale at tip; lamelle under fourth toe 23-30; dorsum reddish-brown to olive-green; the larger flank scales more green; ocular region and sides of neck with dark markings; tail with 10 dark brown bands; venter cream.

Habitat:

Restricted to the Knuckles Massif, at elevations of 760-1220m.
