Description:

A large bird of Gruidae family, easily recognizable by its golden-colored crown, blacj head with white cheeks and its red throat pouch. The body is predominantly of various shades of grey, with whitish underparts and long black wading legs.

Habitat:

Dry savannah of Nairobi NP.
