Field Notes

Description:

A black caterpillar with highlighter yellow bands, and orange/red head and butt. It has a tail it would flick occasionally. It also seemed to camouflage its behind to look like another head.

Habitat:

Right on the pavement at the top of Ancon Hill in Panama City
