Description:

I couldn't resist this shot as the moth had landed with wings spread on a very bright light giving full and x-ray view. About 30mm wingspan.

Habitat:

At the local school at night.

Notes:

Common name might be 'Tree Lucerne Moth' <br> Highly variable with some almost black versions exist particularly west of the eastern states of Australia. <br>
