Description:

Many Chipping Sparrows visit the feeders during February and March, a couple weeks ago over 70 were about. Chipping Sparrows are year-round here and named after their bland "chipping" song.

Habitat:

Urban woodlands

Notes:

One individual had lost a foot (photos 2 and 3), probably from a cat that lives nearby.
