Description:
A graceful swallow of North America, the Tree Swallow, Tachycineta bicolor, has the characteristic forked swallow tail. Tachycineta bicolor is characterized by a blue "hood" and back, with the ends of the wings becoming grayish. The breast is white. Though a strong flier, the Tree Swallow prefers to soar low to the ground and sing its bubbly symphony.
Habitat:
Flying around the front yard.
