Description:

This chipmunk wasn't afraid of people because I was sitting in a bench and it was a foot away from me.

Habitat:

Pine forest at Bryce National Park.

Not a chipmunk. Lacks the distinctive face stripes. From the colouration, and location, it would most likely be a Golden-mantled Ground Squirrel.
