My favorite thing about dung beetles is that they're the first animal known to navigate at night using the Milky Way!! https://blog.nationalgeographic.org/2013/01/24/dung-beetles-navigate-via-the-milky-way-first-known-in-animal-kingdom/
I find them fascinating. Saw my first in Kenya, and I must have taken at least 50 photos of the thing. I didn't know there were so many species.
😊 Have to give them top marks for persistence , this one was taking it up a slight slope and didn't see the pebble at the other side.
Such a fun hobby. It's hard not to love a dung beetle :)
