Description:

I saved the caterpillars of these butterflies from certain death , when a neighbor had cut down the creeping Loranthus vines ( that he thought were simply parasitic) and had piled them up to be burned."rescued about 50+ caterpillars on the vines and after feeding and looking after them - released 41 gorgeous butterflies into the wild.

Habitat:

Feeds on Loranthus sp. leaves

seems like a mammoth task! How did you keep and feed them. They obviously turned into pupa. Your success rate is 44/50 which is 88 % and that is a great achievement. Congrats and thnx for sharing!
