Description:
Males have a blue thorax and abdomen. They have a black face and dark green eyes. The spangled skimmer has black and white stigmas (near the tips of the wings) on the wings. At the base of the wings, there are small black streaks.
Habitat:
Spotted in wetland vegetation at the edge of a lake.
