Snow-flake-like powder comes off onto your hands, whitish, ring on stalk, clustered, white spores.

Habitat:

growing on ground near base of norway maple.

Notes:

coming out of lawn on Carroll St and Brooklyn Ave in Crown Heights, BK. Scientific name is Leucocoprinus cepaestipes
