Field Notes

Description:

Long legs and long bills with a slight downward curve near the end. Back and rump is white while the rest is brownish gray barring and streaks. Dark stripe on head and across the eye. Cheeks and eyebrow are a pale gray.

Habitat:

Spotted this both on a beach and in the surf edge of reef.
