Description:

These birds are extremely widespread across the British Isles,They are part of the thrush family and favour deciduous woodlands, they have a very exuberant call which quite amusingly varies across the nation much like local dialects. Usually feeding on seeds from the ground as seen in photos 2-4.

Habitat:

seen at Potteric Carr wildlife reserve owned by the yorkshire wildlife trust.
