Hi Dan, that helps very much! Thank you kindly for explaining.
The flowers of argentea are larger and thicker with a different shape, almost like a flame. Spicata blooms are smaller with less dense, individual open blooms, like in your spotting. Hope that helps.
Just out of curiosity, what is the distinguishing difference between C. spicata and C. argentea?
You're welcome but I really don't think this is C. argentea.
