Description:

A herbaceous perennial with alternate, trifoliate leaves and obovate to diamond-shaped leaflets. Flowers are dark red to purple flowers. Calyx with hairy sepals. The fruits are winged seedpods.

Habitat:

Found in cultivated lands, steppe and roadsides.
