Field Notes

Description:

About 2cm long and feeds on Tridax procumbens and other floral buds. Wings are always closed when at rest. Flies very quickly in a zig zag and sometimes spiral pattern.

Habitat:

Found in forested areas and sometimes in urban gardens depending on proximity and extent of food range.
