Description:

The Clay-colored Thrush is about 23-27 cm (9-10 1/2") in length. It is predominately brown/beige in coloration. The throat often has some pale streaking on it.

Habitat:

Open forests, openings within forests, forest edges. I photographed this bird just outside the front door to the World Birding Center at Bentsen Rio Grande Valley State Park in Texas.
