Field Notes

Description:

This kind of looks like a St. John’s Wort shrub. However, it has a lot less bloomed flowers then a typical Wort shrub so I think this might be a dying one. this has green long thin leaves with bright yellow flowers. There seems to be a lot of unbloomed buds throughout.

Habitat:

When you first walk onto the trail. Close to the trail. The soil seemed damp probably due to late night dew.
