Field Notes

Description:

Small Kingfisher, 15cm, Black beak, golden patch above beak, Black nape and white collar. A slight hint of orange gold at side of its wing.

Habitat:

Near a Creek, near the hIghway not far from coast and mangroves. Queensland, Australia.

Notes:

First I saw one and then the second one came and joined! NEVER seen two Kingfishers in one spot before. Australia has plenty!
