Field Notes

Description:

Any help with identification is much appreciated! Small frog or toad or toadlet (I'm not sure what the difference is). Approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm) long. Dark brown with a distinct lighter coloured line down the centre of the back from nostrils to vent?. Appears to have small lumps over the surface of the skin.

Habitat:

Hopping about at the Mankajarra wetlands.

Notes:

This little critter was so difficult to photograph, just kept moving around. I was unable to get any shots from a different angle unfortunately.

A tricky one Liana. Perhaps Family Hylidae, Genus Cyclorana?
