Description:

Boidae family (primitive snakes). Characterized for having torn pupils and inverted heart-shaped head.

Habitat:

They occur in different habitat types, included wet montane forest, lowland wet forest, mangrove forest, wet limestone karst, offshore cays, suburban and urban areas where boas occur in outbuildings and houses, and from sea level to 480 m.
