Description:

The Northern Cardinal is mostly red with a black mask and chin and a red beak. This is most likely a male Cardinal because female Cardinal because they have a much duller coat (gray) with red wings and tail and a smaller crest than males.

Habitat:

The Northen Cardinal ranges from eastern to central north America and southern Canada. It can also be found in parts of central America and Mexico. They can live in suburban area, edge of woods, vegetation around houses, swamp, streamside thickets, hedgrows and lowland

Notes:

I see these types of bird many times because I live near a forest. They are very beautiful and they sound beautiful when they sing.
