Description:

The vividly colored Great Eggfly is a species of nymphalid butterfly commonly found in Sri lanka. A Highly territorial species - the Female does not have bright blotches of white on its wings as in a male of the same species - it still has a metallic blue sheen that is evident when viewed at an angle
