Field Notes

Description:

Killdeer eggs in my neighbors front yard. You can see the killdeer decided to put the nest right next to the walkway.

Habitat:

Fort Hood, TX and the nest is built in the rocks of my neighbors front yard.

Notes:

Updated pictures with killdeer faking it so I will stay away from chicks. Nervous killdeer walking away.
