Field Notes

Notes:

I don’t know much about frogs and this was my first time taking the pictures of the frogs. May 5th was a holiday in Japan. It is "Children's Day." My father passed away on this day. So, this was a special day for me. And, this will be my 200th spotting!

Thank you very much Jemma and Yuko-san. Actually my father passed away on May 5th but years ago. Still, I am glad that he passed on the very special day, "Children's Day" because this holiday is for boys ("Girl's Day is March 3).
Thank you very much Aaron! I will add ID.
Very special spotting dedicated to your beloved father and congratulations on your 200th! A wonderful milestone! :-)
May your Father rest in peace!
