Field Notes

Description:

About an inch to an inch and a half in size. Wings are white / light blue on the bottom and blue/purple on top.

Habitat:

Found in open grass near a pond, sitting on a charred log from an old fire pit. Several species of wildflowers in nearby area.

Notes:

3 of these butterflies were sitting together
