Description:

Large crested Tern ( 45 cm ) In summer the crown and crest are black, or semi black in juvenile. Becoming mottled with white in transition to the winter white crown and grey mottled crest. Upperparts grey, underparts white. Young birds darker grey than adults and mottled with brown and white on upperparts. Tail is grey, bill color is yellow, and the feet is back.

Habitat:

Breeds on Karimunjawa Islands and small islands of Sumatra.
