Description:

This guy is starting to molt into his breeding plumage. Getting a bright yellow body with black wings and cap on the head.

Habitat:

At the feeders in Palo Duro Canyon SP.

A couple days ago I noticed the Goldfinch up here in Massachusetts are starting to turn yellow just like this one. Spring must be on the way:-)
