Field Notes

Habitat:

It occurs in Central and South America, in open areas and forest clearings. I found this specimen in a region of transition between the Cerrado and Atlantic Forest.

Notes:

"Rough-Winged" ( or "Swallow Sawmill" = "Andorinha Serradora", in Brazil) refers to the serrated edge of the outer primary feathers on the wing of this bird; this feature would only be apparent when holding this bird.
