Small butterfly, quick and agile, resting on the ground and sunbathing

Habitat:

Open area of mixed forest

Notes:

It was hard to get within distance of this one, it was very wary and had to move very slow to get close enough.

Oh I know I am trying not to breathe but once it "landed" on my shirt I couldn't believe but a second a moved it was gone!
Hehe thank you, patience is everything, but with a good enough camera you won't need to get as close as I had to be to get these photos :) The largest photo is taken about 20 cm away, but it took me 10 minutes to get it calm enough with my presence. Just remember to slow down your movements, any sudden moves will trigger its natural instinct to get away from danger ;)
Beautiful :) Lucky you, it is so impatient I never had a chance to take a photo!
