Eastern Hermann's tortoise

We spotted this female turtle while she was trying to cross the national road. The trucker going in front of us, avoided it, and so we did, but about a 50 metres down the road, we found a small parking lot where we could stop the car, and we rushed by foot towards the animal. We picked her and crossed the road safely, and we released her in the prairie. The turtle was missing one leg (probably due to a old accident), but otherwise she was in good health :)
