Description:

Part of the primula family native to Europe and Asia, its name refers to slippery or boggy ground which is often where this species is found. around 10cm high, has a rosette of leaves and can have as many as 30 blooms on one single stem.

Habitat:

seen at the Yorkshire wildlife trust woodlands in Maltby Rotherham.
