Description:

These crows are very noisy birds and its clear to see where the expression " noisy crow" came from when referring to somebody that clearly isnt quiet. At first they look all black but as you can see in photo 2 they have a lovely purple irridescence to their feathers similar to that of a Magpie (from the same family) Crows are omnivorous and will feed on anything they can find including eggs of other birds and young chicks but also fruit and seeds.

Habitat:

seen at Potteric carr nature reserve, owned by the Yorkshire Wildlife trust
