Description:

The female Common Diadem mimics the African Monarch. It is slightly larger, the edges of the wings have more black and white stripes, and the shape of the head is different.

Habitat:

Riverine woodland

Notes:

Observed in the Mbuluzi Gorge, Mlawula Nature Reserve.
