Appeared to be feeding on this poplar tree.

Habitat:

Dilberry Provincial Park, Alberta. Canadian Prairies.

Notes:

From what I can see, this appears to be a transverse ladybug, could someone confirm?

Edit: Thanks for letting me know it's a seven-spotted ladybug.
