Field Notes

Description:

Small fast growing tree up to 10ft tall. It flowers repeatedly with clusteres on the ends of flower stems. Flowers are yellow with 10 long, brilliant red stamens standing out several inches beyond the petals. Leaves are very fine, alternate and compound. Seed pods are poisonous.

Habitat:

A friends wildlife habitat garden.
