Field Notes

Description:

An Indian palm squirrel looking for breakfast- and finding it!

Notes:

Also known as the three-striped palm squirrel. It is said that the three stripes on its back are because a famous Hindu mythological character, Rama, picked one up and stroked it with three fingers.
