Field Notes

Description:

Saw this one taking a small insect by floating down from a perch above. Searched the net and found that it could take even a small mouse and impale it on thorns to be butchered and consumed later. Size is about 20cm.

Habitat:

Near a water body adjacent to my home in a place full of shrubs.
