Description:

A small female mealybug (scale insect) is crawling through a silk-covered tree bark. This insect is only less than 4mm long. It is covered in white excretion which looks like hairs. As seen in the first photo, it's top part has gone bald, those detachable white structures has somehow cleared away in that area but they will grow back.

Habitat:

Live and feed on plants. This one was found wandering this this tree of the same species as http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/22641038
