Field Notes

Description:

Green on top, white below, some spotting or streaking on mostly white throat. Note: Many female and immature spieces are difficult to identify - look for subtle differences in throat, tail size and shape. Pay attention to sound and motion of flight.

Habitat:

These birds were found around our feeder. They are nesting in a tall pine and are attracted to our gardens. We have a butterfly bush they are particularily happy with.
