Field Notes

Description:

length about 750 microns, body has 9-10 segments,

head V shape, almost as wide as the 1st two segments behind
a line of dark mass lines the leading border of the head.

The first 2 segments behind the head appear to be the largest and have a dark blackish blue granular appearance

The segments taper to the end, stiff clear hair like extensions from the segments, point back, are numerous and barely visible.

The last and smallest segment is black and appears parted in the middle.

Habitat:

Over coral reef, leeward side, 20 - 30 ft deep, 1 hour from high tide, new moon, 5:45 am, about 100 yards from surf break, 2ft break.
