Field Notes

Description:

Medium sized Jumping Spider. Black body with white markings. Brownish coloration on legs and on face around eyes. Looked bronze at the right angle in the sun (see picture 5).

Habitat:

Shrubs next to a swamp/marsh area (fresh water). Connetquot State Park, New York.

Notes:

New species of Jumper for me!
