Description:

This are juvenile anhinga, were moving from branch to branch. They were close to leaving the nest. They have other names like the snack bird and the water turkey. The upper back of the body and wings is spotted or streaked with white. The females have a brown throat, while males have a black throat.

Habitat:

I took this photo in Anhinga Trail, Everglades National Park, Florida.
