I can't decide if this is a pickerel frog or a northern leopard frog.

Mona, I think you're right about this being a Pickerel Frog. The way I usually tell the 2 species apart is the spots down the middle of the back are a series of side by side spots on pickerel and leopard looks more streaky and random. This picture doesn't show if the frog has a yellow patch on the side of its belly in front of the hind leg.
I don't know much about frog.. But looks more brownish the base color like the pickerel rather than green. But I might be wrong..
