Field Notes

Description:

I saw several of these yellow-headed blackbirds in the larger wetlands. Very vocal with a striking black and yellow plumage. Some white patches on the wings are better seen when in flight.

Habitat:

Spotted at the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge.
