Description:

A pair of these bee-eaters were taking advantage of the insects disturbed around a watering hole by water buffalo. This was in the Aberdare mountains at an altitude of about 7200 ft (2195m) Similar but much larger than the little bee-eater.

Habitat:

Common in highland forests and forest edge
